I am wondering if anyone can help with cheap flight details. I am flying my parents over at the beginning of April and as i dont live in the UK dont really know where or with who to look.

They live in Yorkshire if that helps.

Thanks

PEGASUS only fly from stanstead, maybe not too good for your parents. All their cheap flights sold weeks ago. Their best prices come in at about 410 pound rtn at the end of april now. you need to be more specific wıth your dates and the airports you would consider before we can find any good deals...

Semtcm - where did you get your figure?

Today I can offer Pegasus for GBP 233.00 per person return including taxes and our booking fee (based on two travellers). This will very much depend on the dates of travel I used 20th and 30th April.

R Croton - If you look at our site you will be able to get your parents train or coach down to Stansted if they have passess they might be able to coach for next to nothing in real terms. By the way there are three airlines which do the route which you can be helped with. If they can do a plane transfer there are also flights from Birmingham.

Hi rcroton,

They maybe be better looking at flights from Leeds/Bradford airport, into Larnaca, or even Teesside or Doncaster. Most of the charter flights start for Easter from regional airports. If this is not an option, then Manchester with Turkish Airlines or CTA will be best. If they must travel from Stanstead, they do not need to go in to London. I have caught a train from Darlington to Peterborough and changed to a train travelling to Stanstead airport. It was relativly easy. If your parents are elderly, they just book assistance with luggage when they book their train tickets. Hope this information helps.

The Butlers wife - if you have booked assist on the rail network you will also know that it is best to remind the "train manager" as they will call ahead (and tell them which carrige you are on) which makes it easier.

Green Island Holidays have some deals on at the moment - flights to Ercan £159 from LHR, Stansted and Manchester. Tel 020 - 7637 - 7338.

From Leeds Bradford - Jet2.com offer weekly flights to Larnaca - bit they don't start til May.
