Although it may be seen as cause for celebration.... If he is locked up in TRNC or sent back to UK isn't that his best excuse ever for not fulfilling his contractual obligations?

According to the Stockton local press he apparently said in February 2008 that he might return to the UK in 1 year's time if a trial date for his UK crimes could be fixed (so he could get it over and not have these things hanging over his head anymore!). Well, here we are 1 year later... Either way, let's hope he gets what he deserves and his victims get some justice.

According to an update on the Sun website : The fugitive was arrested in Northern Cyprus yesterday and flown back to Britain. He was met by cops from Cleveland at Stansted Airport who took him back to the north east. His mother Mavis Robb, 70, was also held. The pair are due to appear before Teesside Crown Court tomorrow morning.

Hi All, BBC North news announced tonight that Gary Robb was arrested today at Stanstead Airport. Guess guys that is pretty definative.! I am not a vengeful guy myself, but I do hope that any members that have been wronged by this guy, and his associates, get justice. Cleveland Police believe that they have sufficient evidence..................... Justice is the order of the day. I hope that your gods go with you! wyn

Gary Robb to appear this morning at Teeside Crown Court, with his mother. Thanks Guys.......We didnt want him either!!! Just a thought though. When he did a runner to The TRNC did not The UK Government freeze £1.5m in his bank account in the UK. If he is now tried and found guilty, could The Aga Girls not apply to the courts for criminal compensation? A bit of true justice, would be nice! wyn

"Rob was also stripped of his ‘TRNC’ citizenship when officials discovered he had lied about completing national service in Britain." National Service in Britain ended when Robb was a baby. So were the TRNC officials who processed his citizenship simply idiots, corrupt, or corrupt idiots? "To make matters worse for Robb, Interpol announced in May 2005 it had issued an arrest warrant for him and a number of his business associates because of their dealings in illegally expropriated Greek Cypriot properties." Presumably other estate agents also face Interpol arrest warrants.

kitty kat when the judgment is decided re the orams and whether or not an arrest warrent or court papers and judgements from one member state should stand in another member state. then anything issued against any estate agent or anyone else ,from the roc will stand elsewhere in the eu. remembering that selling, owning ect, gc previously owned property is an offence in the roc. i wonder if interpol will get involved then?

Here we have another idiot from RoC who expects people to believe he has anything to do with Mr Robb, ie trncc. One can only imagine what this person has layed out for this acronym. Judging from their knowledge of the English language to date they will not even know what that means! At the outset Robb was using money from his murderous dealings in the drugs trade and in any normal society he would not be looking at a number of years in jail, he would and should be looking at a death sentence for himself and his dear old mum. Unfortunatley he and his acolytes manged to con a considerable number of people into paying out a lot of money in properties that would never be completed. The ABAG ladies know my views but I fear they may not get their homes in the near future, they certainly were never going to get them while Robb was around. There is a white knight on the horizon from Turkey and hopefully that will happen. As for the Robb family.......................................

No-one would seriously want to see your mate back in the TRNC even if he promised on his dear old mother's life that he would finish the properties he's been paid for. What people would want is for Mr Robbs assets to be traced, frozen and seized, and the proceeds used to finish what he started.

Dear KKJ re msg 62.. Let me make it easier, still for you.. KKJ: " and what about TC land in the ROC? Do you never get bored of cutting and pasting the same old ramblings.".. MM: "If anyone is selling land / property owned by a TC for private gain in the RoC be sure to tell us and take the RoC's custodian to court..." KKJ: "Why would i want to do that? I live in the TRNC, i work in the TRNC, I contribute towards the TRNC! and i say long live the TRNC!" MM:so, sorry, your answer makes no sense :( KKJ:Me response was regarding message 59! I am sorry I will try to make it easier for you to understand. Why would I want to take anybody to court in the RoC when I live in the TRNC! So.. if you have evidence that the RoC is allowing the selling off of TC land for private gain, you have two choices.. stay in "TRNC" and complain to me, on this board or take ACTION.

Garry Robb, is the partner of a construction company named “Aga Development” and he received money from 500 British families with the commitment of constructing houses, however did not fulfil his obligations and he ran away to abroad. Robb, who wanted to return TRNC with a claim that he would complete his investments, did not fulfil his obligations in spite of the contributions of government for the infrastructure of houses. Garry Robb smuggled 200,000 Euros from TRNC to abroad short time ago and he had intentions to run away. Englishman Garry Robb was granted citizenship long time ago when he started to make investments in the TRNC. Be sure to click on Union Flag for English versin

Cronos: "What people would want is for Mr Robbs assets to be traced, frozen and seized, and the proceeds used to finish what he started." Unfortunately with Gary Robb now in the pokey and looking at least a 10-year stretch, people who gave him their money are likely to be disappointed. The majority of his assets could be seized by the Crown under Proceeds of Crime Act. This is why - it will be for Robb to prove all his assets were not gained through criminal conduct. If he can't, it will go to the Crown. Selling AND buying someone else's property in the TRNC is a criminal offence in Cyprus (i.e. Europe including UK) so if it isn't drugs money it's money from punters buying a house off him. Dirty money either way and subject to forfeiture.

02] Soyer said £8 million are needed for the completion of 300 residences of people who bought property in the occupied areas of Cyprus from Gary Robb Under the title Robbs swindle is 8 million pounds sterling, Turkish Cypriot daily Afrika newspaper (30.01.09) reports that Gary Robb has been handed over to the Interpol, but his secrets are still there. The paper notes that investigation should start regarding the swindles, briberies, irregularities, abuse of authority and the partners of Robb. In statements to the paper, Ferdi Sabit Soyer, self-styled prime minister of the breakaway regime, said that those who bought residence from Robb are in a very difficult situation and that £8 million are needed for the completion of 300 residences. http://www.hri.org/news/cyprus/tcpr/2009/09-01-30.tcpr.html#02

trncc , both north and south cyprus are in europe. the north is just not recognised. only as and when they want to. why are the people rob owes money to not issuing court papers against him in the uk? after all he owes them money, it must be worth a try. i don't know a lot about it but some must have paid money through some agents bank accounts in the uk, to fund their purchase here. they must have some records somewhere, which would prove he owes them money. they have got years to work on it as he won't be going anywhere, lol. maybe they could lobby their uk m.p. and put their claims to the crown prosecution as evidence that he stole from them , that they are owed money and it can't all go to the crown. possibly get one lawyer to act on behalf of all of them.

Hinksey Taking drugs is not compulsory. It is entirely optional. He is by all accounts a criminal and a drug dealer but he did not force you to go to his clubs and take drugs. Accept responsibility for your own actions and then get on with your life.
