Does anyone know for sure HSBC interest rates for sterling and TL, monthly and their opening hours, thanks.

I was quoted 1.75% for Sterling and 12% for TL 30 day accounts yesterday. Opening hours 08:30 - 16:00. You may be able to negotiate a little more interest if you are a premier customer.

Try other banks for better rates. HSBC trying to claw back cash as they suffer in the world arena.



Better deals elswhere as I've found.

Understand that Central Bank of Turkey has dropped interest rate to 12.60% and therefore TRNC banks have had to amend their rates. Creditwest is still giving 4.75% on sterling/euro accounts and 18% on TL and I believe Iktasitbank is giving similar rates.

universal will give you 17% if you put in 15000ytl on monthly acc

Has there been any recent changes on "interest rates" in the TRNC. Looking everywhere for an up date but can,t find the info easily.
