apologies if this has already been posted as im sure it has but we are leaving to go south for the day in a bit and havent got time to look through the threads. Does anyone know how much car insurance is on the south at the moment? Do you have to get a months insurance or can you get a 24hr 1?

you have to get it for a month, and think its 25€

you have to go to the tax road office to get a permission to drive : open from 8 to 14.30 - this paper is free and last one year -*then

yu got to the insurance office, next to it and show you driving lisence and papers of your car - for one month, indeed it is 25 E -



BE CAREFUL, without your permission to drive you will not be allow to cross - so watch the opening hours !!!

don't forget to take your car log book with you the first time for the road tax
