Is this a Challenge for Obama and the western world?

Weapons experts agreed that the act was mainly a symbolic accomplishment because the satellite was very small. Launching a heavy warhead intercontinental distances would require a far more powerful missile.The United States and other Western nations suspect that Tehran wants to develop nuclear arms, an accusation Iran’s leaders deny. On Iranian television, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad praised the launching. “Dear Iranian nation,” he said, “your children have placed the first indigenous satellite into orbit.”He stressed that it was Iranian experts who had built the satellite and the rocket. “With God’s help and the desire for justice and peace,” he said, “the official presence of the Islamic republic was registered in space.”

Seems like a bit of sabre rattleing from Ahmadinejad, no doubt he will be firing a few missiles soon to test Obama's spine, the yanks will be the subject of a few little prods to see how the new boys react.
