for a normal user 3gb should be plenty - lets hope it makes the other internet providers drop their charges... Just like happens in most countries. Nick

hmmm.......ok Nick.........lets just say someone wants to use the internet for emailing, surfing and skype etc yes then telsim 3g is fine, but lets face it if you want to download films and telly progs (and most people do) then restricting customers to 3Gb a month is totally inadequate. Personally I'll stay with Turkcell I'm happy to pay 70tl a month and have a download limit of 5.5Gb a DAY ! (hope the sun comes back soon !)

I just got Telsim 3G- COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. Modem was 129, then 69TL per month for unlimited downloads (my connection manager software that came included even told me that i downloaded just over 6GB in one day (lots of youtubing) which seems on the face of it better than Turkcell), and the speed in lefkosa is very good. Staff are really nice, and very helpful- much better than I ever was treated with eXtend, and I know/taught many of the extend employees, so if that is how they treated 'friends' I can only imagine with horror how unknowns were treated. Only one problem, the service does seem to shut itself off if left on over night (I download most things while i sleep, so that work is not disrupted by slow connection).

Chris it may be worth checking your power options if you are using windows. It may well be that Windows is shutting down the USB ports after a certain amount of inactive time. Just a thought.
