| How does one pronounce the name of this eastern suburb of Girne?
Is it Catalkoy or Chatalkoy?
I have heard both Turkish Cypriots and English residents use both versions.

| C without a squiggle underneath is pronounced j like Alsancak is pronounced Alsan Jack.
C with a squiggle underneath is pronounced Ch. So Catalkoy is pronounced Chatalkoy.
