You should seek advice from a solicitor but as you will see from various other postings there are pitfalls, costs and deposits. Search this BB and you will find many answers. I don't think that it is a permit as such that you require. One member of this board has good legal knowledge and his wife is also a solicitor so you might get good advice from him as well as a reliable contact.

I think you will find that you need to speak to an accountant rather than a solicitor as they set up businesses.

Check out cyprus yellow pages there are many accountants in it there are also plenty in the buzz book yellow pages http://www.cypyp.com But it is a business permission you will need to carry on business in TRNC unless you have a TC business partner who owns a minimum of 51 % of the business

I have a business in the TRNC, wholly British owned and I have never needed the services of a solicitor setting it up or running it. I have heard of friends who have paid solicitors to help set up and all the solicitor did was pass it to an accountant then charge a fee. Obviously everyone has a different tale to tell but this is my experience.
