| Am I right in saying that İŞBANK is the only bank that is 80% owned by the Turkish Government and in fact could never go Bankrupt? |

| I know a lot of the banks are listed on Istanbul stock exchange(should have an english translation) - so you should be able to check annual reports. Garanti bank and some others have branches in UK that may give info on their websites Steve |
