DVDs - Problem with customs ?

Over the past few years myhusband has a good collection of dvd films will he have any problem with customs when we transport these over?

Many thanks for responding so i take it you put all yours in a container did you put them in with your computer?



My hubby also has a laptop and wondered whether airlines would allow him to carry this on board or whether it is best that this is too put in the container.

Yes, our DVDs and computer went on the container. We carried over our laptop, as part of our hand luggage, just had to get it out at the airport (Stansted, along with everything else!!) so they could inspect it.

hi guys

if you are worried about pirate or naughty films (lol) and customs takeing them just seperate the covers so all they will see is a blank disk and you wont be troubled, and concerning your laptop id always carry that thru with your hand luggage never put in the container

the good news is the hand luggage restrictions have been lifted so you can carry as many bags as you want, but still no liquids allowed

What do they look for? With the laptop do you mean? I think just to make sure you don't have any nitro glycerin hidden in it! LOL! Not sure, just checking it's what you say it is I suppose. Our 'only in cinema at the moment' DVDs, we just put them in amongst our others - also have a couple of those portable cases with the plastic sleeves - just put them in there. Don't worry too much - considering all the DVD shops over here sell 'only in cinema' DVDs!!!



Good news about the hand luggage erkan, when did that happen hon!?

also hon u said my pic is not wot u expected wot did you expect some internet nerd who looked like a geek cos he know a bit about everything!!!! lol

some say i look quite handsome and i dont look my age not sure if the had anything in their eyes when they saw my pic!!!! LOL
