are you talking about the new cafe, coffee bar next to continental bank nearly opposite the new harley davidson dealership, the sandwiches are excellent, good prices and real coffees at fair prices.

I work in the town centre and tried to get a sandwich delivered from there and i was advised that they will not deliver just one sandwich. There are 12 people that work for the company. You work out the maths on how much business they have potentially lost. Most of my colleagues and I now order from Ree's daily and receive a fantastic service and brilliant food.

Kitty...surely they have only lost out IF 12 people were going to order sandwiches. But only you wanted a sandwich ! I'm not surprised they wouldn't deliver a single sandwich...that hardly makes good business sense either does it?

Yes Cronos, on that day I decided to try the new sandwich place as they dropped a flyer through our door. Maybe it would of been out of this world and we all ordered sandwiches there the following day. Then maybe we went out and told people about our great sandwiches we had ordered and they ordered them the following day?? Now tell me what makes good business sense. What is that they say you have a good experience on average you tell 3 people, if you have a bad experince you tell 10!

I have been to Cassini quite a few times and have always had a great sandwich and excellent service. The people are friendly and the capuccino is very good, something I often struggle to find here. It has always been pretty busy too which is a good sign. I also like Ree's sandwiches so it is good having a decent lunch place on each side of the town.

I thought it was common knowledge that KKJ worked for Unwins? As far as I'm concerned she's never kept it a secret that she's an estate agent???

we had ordered sandwhiches from cassini a couple of times, the last time we ordered we were very disapointed - sorry - the jacket potato ( that should have been served with salad according to the menu) came without salad, no butter inside the potatoe, cold and therefore the cheese topping hadnt melted( it was in chunks not grated) so all in all very poor , 2 sandwhiches ordered with it were small and the delivery driver tried to over charge us - when we pointed this out he left the shop muttering things under his breath !?!?!?!? not using them again - sorry.... prefer to use ree's sarnies next to HSBC, sometimes have to wait a little while for delivery as they are soooooooooooooooooooooo busy ..... thats a good sign though.

There should be a sandwich bar/cafe opening opposite Astro supermarket that was once in Karaoglanoglu called lunch box. I dont suppose this is the same company moved there instead. Their food was excellent.

It's the same Lunch Box that has opened just down the road before TEM, opposite Astro. If you're a smoker, there IS an awning at the front to protect you from the rain. Why don't other places that have smoking areas outside provide some kind of protection from the elements ie. umbrellas which are used in the summer could be used in the winter too surely? Just an idea. If the lung cancer doesn't get us, pneumonia certainly will.
