I rate Sabor. The original in Nicosia and the new one in Girne. Good food, good service at a reasonable price in my personal opinion.

i'd second that Erolz - times are hard and Sabor ticks all the boxes..... Certainly not putting up with the bullshit 35TL a bottle for second rate wine and over priced food type of places...... Nick

In no particular order: Bellapais Gardens - great for a special occasion. Lovely setting, great food, great service. Guido's, Alsancak - lovely welcome, nothing's too much trouble, great food, nice wine selection. Al Shaheen, Karakum - always very nice, polite service and I've never had a bad meal there. Very consistent. For a quick lunchtime snack: Tempo cafe - clean, decent service, food good and "does exactly what it says on the tin"

Kocca Restaurant, Yesilkoy. A lovely traditional Turkish Cypriot restaurant with local prices. Only 15ytl for an excellant Mezi. Very friendly staff and good quick service. Sahil Yolu baluk (fish) restaurant, next to Kpet garage, Bogaz. Excellant food and service at the right price. A big Efes is only 3yt. Afiyet olsun.
