| You may have seen the signs outside of 'Tolga's Restaurant' in Karsiyaka, and its true.......old management back by public demand.
Dawn also back every Saturday night.
Make a date in your diaries and lets get the old crowd back !!!!
It used to rock on Sats especially in the summer, when it was outside in his garden under the grapevines.

| i live very near and have not been in for months,u never new if he was open or closed.and was allways very cold inside
last manager chased all the regulars away, would b nice to go back and find old friends back there again |

| I went to the Quiz a couple of weeks ago and thought it was very good. Tony, I believe is the quizmasters name. before when Dawn was doing it she took all quiz papers away to mark, now they are swapped with nearest table so is much quicker.
The only raffle tickets we received was for the cash rollover which stood at 400 lira. |

The reason being, she hasn't been asked....
Don't like the sound of the 'raffle' thats new, is it for Charity or Tolga or maybe so Tony gets paid !!!!!!

| Dawn it doesn't do you any favours casting aspertions on Tolga when you have just started working for him again and promoting him (and yourself) on this very thread!
From what I see every Tuesday the people that do Tony's quiz are very happy with it. If people don't like the format of a quiz (or whatever it may be) then they don't have to go to that establishment. There's really no need to slag it off. |

ignore the petty bickering, it really is a friendly place. Over 200 people in the garden on Saturday nights back in the summer last year. That speaks for itself.
It really was the place to go.
Just hope we can build it up again to how it was. |

| The Waterfront, have got it right, enjoyed my Valentines Night there.
Not sure what Tolgas prices are like now, haven't been there for awhile.
Will check and get back to you on that.
Waterfront is Fridays & Tolgas is Saturdays.......you can do both !! |

| Must say I used to enjoy saturday nights outside and for a while inside, but then they got rid of Dawn (mistake). I think people want stability and to know where they are when they go there. If he keeps Dawn on permanently I might consider going back there and also if he bans a certain yellow haired "gentleman" who looks like Marty Feldman (I`m saying no names but everybody knows him) who is an absolute nuisance. |

| Unfortunately Whistler it's a bit of a catch 22 situation. Tolga had to stop the karaoke on Saturdays because numbers had dropped significantly and he simply couldn't afford to pay for entertainment without enough customers to warrant it. Hopefully now numbers will pick up again and everyone will be happy.
I would also like to say that the gentleman you mentioned is a nice person and has been very helpful to some expats in the area, but he does like a drink and can be a bit loud sometimes. He doesn't actually go in there that often any more.

| Whistler, was told by Tolga last week that that gentleman to whom you were referring to, does not frequent Tolgas's Bar anymore.
