Borodave - You might not have noticed the information in Flights 2008 / 2009 thread and another one about this crash. The figures of those injured that you quote in Msg 1 seem grossly inflated according the BBC & CNN news. This very sad accident happened at about 09.45 local time this morning Graham - I hope not one is one too many

Borodave, Lets not have a slanging match. I did say "seem grossly" I was not trying to be rude. I was going by figures that were available by the hour and you will see that I made a number of postings about this tragic incident. It is bad enough that there is any loss of life and injury but inflating the numbers (not intentionaly) only makes it harder for many people who are scared to fly to board a plane for days to come. My first reaction to seeing your post was that there had been another accident on the same day and I suspect others thought so too. In my response you would have seen that "one is one too many" but I would not have repeated what I had said in other threads. I feel if it is heart felt that I do not need to advertise my response by repetition. As well as the thread that dutch has mentioned maybe you could look at http://www.cyprus44.com/forums/3231.asp I think that you may find that my posting on this crash and others in the past are reasonably sympathetic.

Borodave - truly no apology required. You had probably not seen the earlier threads. Regards Tom
