TL interest rates - Credit West Bank

When in NC in November opened an account with this Bank and are in contact with them via e mail. Must say am amazed at the interest rates they offer and wonder how safe they are? I am tempted to send out more funds to them but also nervous in this present climate. Any advice would be most appreciated.

maddy what would you like to know?, if you have any specific questions I will try to answer them. Our interest rates are very competative but as you probably know there are many influences as to why some banks offer higher rates than others. ımust also add that we are not the highest in the market but we do pride ourselves on the quality of service we provide which we feel places us ahead of our competitors.

Opened an account with Creditwest today 15% ytl 6% Current Account Spotted quite a few brits in there as well seem ok to me mind you they said that about Northern Rock

We do not give out mortgages. We give out loans to who ever has a guarantor or land/house they will put against to loan.

We are carefull to whom we loan out monies to and have not taken anyones home to date.

not sure who the posters are here but Bank staff have no idea whatsoever in the finanncial stabiliity of their own bank, I was a Bank Manager and its mushroom management I assure you. They cannot afford to let the staff now the true position for obvious reasons. If you want high rates of interest the NC rates look good but... if it looks too good to be true it probably is!!!!
