YOU MUST HAVE A LINK AFTER HE METER - or your water has been stolen -or your meter is out of order - how will you be able to prove that you didn't fill up the pool with it !!!

a neighbour of mine, in france had this problem - he had a link after the meter into the soil - you can see it by closin g the water meter - if you can - if it's stop it is a link in your property if not a meter problem !

We had a similar problem to you, we just could not find where the water was going, and then we checked the underground water tank and the ballvalve was stuck open.

Our bill was 6000 ytl but they agreed for us to pay half as a one off payment. That really hurt i can tell you.

my husband just came home he knows the system - you have a link because the water meter is working with the water pressure- closing your tap on the meter asap - you must have water in your tank left -

A bit late, but why don't people shut off their water supply whilst they are away?

Also, meters are interchangable, so keep a note of the serial number of your meter. Taking a photo couldn't hurt either.

I couldn't work out why my apartment water bills were so high when we only visit 3-4 times a year. Turned out that the builder had given the water company the wrong meter numbers for the apartment. I was paying the bill for the TC family next door who lived there permanently. Oh I did laugh! NOT. It was only 3 years worth after all. Luckily the water company did investigate and swopped over the meter numbers. I bet you think that the 'friends for life TC family' offered to reimburse me? Strangely enough they didn't want to know, which is not surprising as they wont pay the maintenance charges either although they use and their friends the pool of course.

Luckily I am not a resentful type (much).
