The "Bar stewards" have a tough one tonight.....1 point wont be enough, and "pool" will be looking over their shoulder for the rest of the season now. All the results went against them last night.

I would love promotion for Burnley the more northwest clubs in the premier league the better just think of the local derbys. Brilliant manager i met him last week, top man. Off to Ewood tonight beat the blue car jackers then Fulham next wednesday and its mid table respectability. one can dream

Clarets, Yes you have bragging rights a 1-0 win and a poor game due to the weather. Last season we took 4000 to burnley on tuesday you had 1900 tickets and took 763 fans a great turnout not. I hope you get promoted with an average gate of 9-10,000, because how many away fans are going to want to travel to burnley a day trip to iraq would be more appealing you will be the wipping boys and laughing stock of the premiership. We will probably go down as Phil Parkes said to me last week if Blackpool stay up and Burnley stay down then job done........ You are and always will be Blackburns poor neighbours and one day i hope the seasiders are as good as you. Farewell all dingles its time for you to tend to the flock, crank up the tractors and light those candles. See you in the championship next year..............

Blackpoolfan......we are off to the Emirates, for our second game against Arsenal this season! We won the last one 2-0. We also did the double over poor old "2-sided ground", and frankly, you were lucky to be graced by that number of the Clarets. We are however taking 6000+ down to London , as they actually have a finished ground! Average crowds at te Turf this season in the league are 12450 and if you include cup games, way in XS of this. We do punch above our weight for our size of town but thats something Blackpool cannot claim..................Barstewards.....well......they are just relegation fodder......I will take great delight in flying over their ground with "staying down forever" floating behind the plane!

Used to watch dingles in 1970's, I sometimes watch Preston and Blackpool;but not too seriously,as golden age of english football has passed- thats why England has never won anything.- - primadonna status of city clubs just starting at this time. Before this Man U,Liverpool,Chelsea etc were beaten on a regular basis,as more level playing field. Cannot take these clubs seriously anymore as they are so out of touch with the ordinary working class bloke. - The lower league clubs will disappear - and the top league will end up like Celtic and Rangers x 6. Sorry,I'm feeling (yawn) tired now ....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Boys....lets stop the arguements. BFC have done 'pool twice this season, are on the verge of the play-offs and beaten most of the best teams in the Premiership this season. We also have a much bigger average gate than the sea-siders.We have won the top flight twice and come second twice. We have won every league in England at least once,we won the cup in 1914 against the real 'pool. We have been runners up in the FA cup twice too.We have won the Charity shield twice and various lesser trophies, that Seasiders can only dream about. We have got further in European competitions than Barstewards EVER have. Not bad for a small town club. We gave the librarians a good game......I was there! We had a good penalty shout turned down, and hit the bar.Their passing and strikers were better than ours.Their crowd however, were the worst I have come across.....that includes Spurs. They sang for 30 seconds and created almost as much atmosphere as the bloody MOON !

Goonerstan.......how can you breathe in such a lifeless atmosphere. We cannot aspire to spending such amounts on teams or such lavish surroundings. The pitch was a veritable billiard surface, but my God.....what a bunch of nerdy, souless "fans". The "library" is a very apt name for that lot-talk about charisma bypass. If thats what having money and prima-donna players is about, you can keep it. Give me some good old Northern humour any time, and a team that is "supported" by its fans. 1 game a piece this season,my friend, but our character and sould will live long into the memory.......your lot wont live long into their first glass of Babysham.
