Have seen on various posts that the paint is now available, does anyone know if the aerosol cartridges fo use wiith the Hammerite Metalmaster system are available

Marshalls (near the Ship Hotel) have Hammerite products.

Not sure if they have want you want....might be worth a visit to see.

New system introduced by Hammerite, paints both sides, worth looking on http://www.hammerite.com/uk if you have a lot of metalwork to paint.

I have used hammerite with a spray gun with no problem however you would need to use a little bit of thinner.

just use a roller we paint railings all the time takes no time with a roller no mess and the new paint at marshalls is made for it believe me

As promised I went to Marshalls to enquire about the aerosol cartridges.

No, they do not sell them but I spoke to Hakan (very helpful English speaking guy we know) and he knew all about the Hammerite spray guns.



He is going to UK on 24th March to view new products and place orders and is willing to order whatever you need.



I don't know if this is of any use to you as I assume you are not here full time and it could be quite a wait for the product to be imported.



But if it is let me know and I can ask Hakan to order it for you.

Its a very expensive system to use and with a bit of wind the paint goes everwhere.



You are much better using a small roller as already suggested and it doesnt take very long

Your right in your assumption that my time in Cyprus will be limited, as

such i have to decide if its worth bringing system from U K (areosols being a prohibited travel item) or resorting to brush/roller.

there is plenty of work for people like bracey if people want to use them without you resorting to put downs mess 15 & 20, it does you and your company no favours there is too much of this on this board,

my hubby used ordinary hammeritte in a spray gun and did all our railings it took him less than half a day to do about 50 metres

you could do that with a roller why thin down paint do you remember the old days thin down white wash then do it again next year if you dont like advise up to you its easy with the new hamerite it recomends on the tin us a roller
