Just moved into my new home in Ozankoy and need a few tips on TV, Internet and where to buy a good car.

Internet - Bortec, in Kangerangaloo.



TV - 4m dish - MetaSat, Girne. (anything else isn't much cop, unless you get your kicks from watching BBC Prime).



Car - avoid dealers (charge way way too much) - keep watching these boards, plenty of Brits selling up and going back home so bargains to be had.

Go to Lefkosa for cars but shop around for the best deal



Internet I have wireless with Extend broadband and very few problems



TV I have Digiturk not wonderful but eonough as we don't watch TV much in the summer.

Be very wary of car dealers/garages. Eventually I bought my car privately from North Cyprus Buy and Sell magazine. Dealers are expensive. Here they have a very different definition of 'brand new'. That usually means a four year old import but 'brand new' to the island. Most of their used cars don't have a history.



Regarding TV, we have DigiTurk cinema package which we find very good and reliable.
