No! Get a job in the Uk, become very rich, loose your marbles and then come to North Cyprus. Oh and buy somewhere. No problem, sorted. Lem

Charlie - You'd be very very lucky to get a job over here unless you are: a) a Cypriot or b) If you are prepared to work for peanuts or c) if you work illegally (and want the constant worry of being deported). The TRNC fine if, you either rent or buy a completed property with all mains services and deeds AND have a chunk of money to provide a comfortable existence. Most of the problems here stem from being ripped off/cheated by builders and/or feeling the pinch because of the cost of living is rising and the interest on savings is dropping. Not negativity, just reality..... Nick

Hi, hrh n.a, can you please give us a little info, my wife studied hardressing in Russia, she has her education passports (little red books) and distinction certs, at 36 I suppose you would say she is a late starter in the business. She does not have extensive salon experience although she is currently employed in a Salon in Russia, she speaks Russian, fairly competent English and some Turkish. Having recently purchased a place in TRNC do you think there is scope for LEGAL employment in TRNC for her?? in your opinion would a Salon take her on legally or is the market flooded with hairdressers. Just want to get a realistic opinion. Thanks in advance for any info you can give us.
