Haven't found a good one yet out here and I've tried most. Normally find that after the second glass they all seem to improve Karen

hi guys like what pilgrim and lovingcyprus have said, angora and cankya are quite nice red wines villa Doluca Özel Kav is a very nice deep red wine, Kavaklıdere Boğazkere is another lovely tasting red which is aged in oak barrels for up to a year before bottled and has the taste of oak, and if you are looking for a nice tasting rose then i would reconmend kavaklidere lal rose hope this helps regards ukturk

Hi guys. I put a thread out about this a few months' ago and I tried the wines UKturk suggested and they were very nice. I think Doluca also do a rose which was lovely and we drank a really cheap white which I cannot remember the name of which was also very good. Husband tried the Kavaklidere as he likes red and that went down very well!!!

UKturk and everyone else, many thanks I will try them all, not all at once by the way, well maybe. I too like a whiskey and the bubbles too. If the water is on in my house next month (as promissed) then I will be cracking a bottle or 2 of all of the above. you are all more than welcome to partake with me. Don Perignon or Clicky I am afraid could find Cristal in Bahrain Duty Free will have alook next month.

Agree Cankaya (white) and Yakut (Red) about the best for me. Can't handle the others. I tend to go for the imported new world varieties, namely Simonsvlie, Palandry, Trivento, 1 or 2 lira more for something much better.
