same happening with hsbc Internet banking from 1st June will not allow anyone to access internet banking without personal details .

i think they have been on the case of the channel islands as well.

states have been gunning for offshore tax havens for ages,

the current crisis is just an excuse



the credit crunch and recession were caused by a lending bubble,

huge funds being borrowed on respectable international capital markets

to fund an apparently limitless property, energy and export boom



as far as one of the biggesy players, iceland, was concerned

the tiny country was a totally on-shore operation but largely unregulated



perhaps that's why mums go there, sober or not
