I would like to insure our new home in Karsiyaka, but am unsure how to go about it, or rather whom to contact. Which insurance company has the best trackrecord? Would that be in North Cyprus or elsewhere?

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated

We are insured with a local company , and have been for 4 years, just along the road from the Colony Hotel in Kyrenia. The owner (Ali Bey which is the name of the company) has been very helpful. We had to make a claim for water damage (following a major leak which bought the upstairs ceilings down) and the claim was dealt with quickly and with no quibbles. Every year we get quotes from others and Ali Bey is always competetive. I hope this helps. Sorry i don't have a contact no but i just pop if i need to + he calls by the house to remind us when policy is due !

Try Credit West, exremely competitive. Also do car insurance which can include cover for the south (if you wish)
