I went to the sony shop in girne and payed £1060 for a 40 inch lcd and i got them to throw in a dvd player plus suround sound and a wall bracket, and i got to say the picture quality is awsome. maybe worth ago my millwall friend.

Some very good prices i agree it nearly makes it worth traveling to the UK buying one and bringing it back. (apart from the customs)

TV's are certainly getting cheaper by the minute in UK. Bought a 22" flat screen LCD couple of weeks ago from Tesco - around the £160-170 mark.

Buy a huge (Apple 24" or any larger brand)) monitor, buy a SlingCatcher and connect your PC to the SlingCatcher -- and have 500+ channels for a couple of Euros/GBP a month. Don't believe it? To prove it: I can email you a screendump.jpg from any recent TV program you request.
