| Does anyone know if you can use your uk debit card to withdraw sterling at the banks over there and if the banks charge. Lloyds only charge you £1 per withdrawel if you withdraw sterling overseas so this would be preferable to bringing all cash and saves on the currency exchange charge also. Many thanks. Tigger |

| Yes you can use a uk debit card to withdraw sterling or Lira. As you say Lloyds charge a minimal amount per withdrawal. Also ----and this is the odd thing--- i have withdrawn £500.00 from the HSBC cash machine (£200.00 max in UK!) Nigel |

| Withdrew 500 tl from HSBC ATM with a HSBC debit card and was charged £4.70. Not a Premier Account. |
