Buying mountain bikes in trnc

Has anyone bought mountain bikes in trnc,noticed shop in nicosia just wondered if it would be cheaper to bring them over.Pegasus charges £40.00 per bike

I bought my bike over with CTA, I called CTA first and they told me you can bring 10kg of sports equipment on top of your normal allowance. It was a bit over but i didnt pay a thing as i smiled sweetly at the girls at Stansted check-in. (i also bought over a kayak the same way).



Do you want a real mountain bike or a Chinese import cheapie? you can find plenty of cheapies but finding brand name is a problem (there is a bigish bike shop in South Nicosia) . Personally I would buy in UK and import for best value. I recommend the brand 'Specialized'.



A decent bike will reward you with a better riding experience in many way especially due to the lower weight, and will last a whole lot longer.

we have his and hers mountain bikes for sale if you're interested. Bought in UK but very rarely used. You know the type, got all the gear but no stamina!!
