HI CHRIS,welcome to the board,i know exactly where you mean.I saw that sign about the shops last year.I think maybe they might be a little delayed, due to recession. However your Sevilla property's seem very nice good luck.

There is a block of about 3 shops not far from Esentepe turn on the main road. Nearly finished last time I was there. Anyone know if they are filled and what with?

None of the new shops being built around Esentepe have been finished and occupied except for Remzi's restaurant upstairs near the garage in the centre of town. The shops underneath this seem to be pretty much finished but are still unoccupied. The row of shops soon after the turnoff on the left have been left as concrete shells since early last year with no sign of restarting. There is a larger group of shops on the main road if you continue past the Esentepe turnoff on the right about 1-2 km further up. These have had most of the work done except for the driveways and parking areas and some minor internals but have no shops in as yet. I have heard they have been promising completion in the next month or so since Christmas 2007 but for some reason they never quite finish them. Aussie

What about a shop that sells shops? Wouldn’t have to go far for a viewing!! Does anyone know about rental costs for any of these units down Esentepe way and is commercial electric and water, (I know, when it’s available), more expensive? Chegs
