In the vein of the 'How many people are in the process of buying' I wondered how many people have sucessfully completed, got their PRP and their title deeds (Kocan). I purchased a completed 3 bed apartment in Girne, Nov 2005 which I am very pleased with and have visited on many occasions since. Yet I am still waiting for PTP. Martin

Hi Martin, This is the timing for our apartment. Contract and PTP application Nov 04 / Keys June 05 / PTP Oct 06 / Deeds (Kocan) Oct 07. So about 2 years for PTP. Everything takes time, but seems to happen in the end. Hope yours is successful soon. Peter

Hi Martin , Give the permissions office a ring , just quote you're ptb number and they will update you , i relied on my solicitor to do this , obviosly he had not checked , cause when i rang mine had come through , so do not rely on solicitor totally .

Thanks Peter & PIPIE. We have found the permissions office and pay a visit when we are over (last checked end Sept even though I paid our estate agent to do it). They are helpful. Police check ok, still waiting for the Army. Will check again in April 08. Will let all know result. Martin

Interesting to see the difference between this thread and that of those still in the process.
