Cyprus44 website (not just the forums) was down from 6pm yesterday until 1:30am today (Friday).



It was because of the hosting company and the issues have been fixed now.



A lot of members emailed me about not being able to access the forums.

The forums section (as well as all other pages) was asking for username/password and some members were worried that their account was banned or something.



So, apologies for the mess up, but I can assure you that we are using the best hosting company in the UK that is suitable for our budget.

What puzzled me was the drop down box was showing my email and my granddaughters email and she has never been on 44 and does not even know about 44.

The dropdown box was very agressive and could not be cancelled or

removed. It is still on a back page & I would like to remove it as it is

You need to close your internet browser.

It was picking the email addresses from a cache (log) on your computer, Probably from other sites you log onto like webmail not from being used or stored on Cyprus44
