Missing Black and White Pointer dog

Missing since Wednesday night from the Zofiros Villas area of Alsancak,near the Merit Hotel - long legged black and white pointer male wearing a black collar. Answers to the name of Pedro. Has two punch holes on each ear from previous tags. Anybody any information good or bad would be appreciated as the owners are very upset. Telephone 0392 8212703

Yes it is. It`s the last one they took in off the road and they have become very attached to him.

have a look around at where most of the local dogs are hanging out.

there is probably a bitch in season and he's just being a dog.

Just an idea i'm at Belvu where the Mare Monte sign sign is , always get strays hanging around here. There is local pointer that plays outside my office and jafeica bar, and friday he was playing with a black and white pointer, not sure if he is the one but he does come and go. please contact me on 0542 884 8010 then I can explain more detail over the phone.

Hi I went passed Hot Wheels today at 1.30 and there was a black and white pointer dog outside sorry its late in letting you know good luck in finding him

I saw a black and white dog that may have been a Pointer jumping over the wall from the carpark into the garden centre at Tolga's in Karsiyaka on Friday night. I wasn't able to see if it was wearing a collar or not.

Seems to be a few dogs gone missing around the same time, coincidence or?

is it mating season?

If the dogs are not "fixed" might be a good idea to get them done, could be the reason they are running off.

I hope you find him soon..

HE`S BACK!!!! Poor little devil. It looks as thoug he has been shut in somewhere because it seems he has had no food since he went missing and is in a worse state than when my friends first took him in. Hope he makes it he`s in a pretty bad way. I`d like to thank everyone who tried to help and will keep you updated on his progress.

Liz. I knew you would be one of the first. Margaret says he is covered in what looks like tiny balls of cement, so whether he has fallen down somewhere we just dont know. Just hope and pray that he will recover properly. xxxx

He`s been to the vet`s this morning (Pertev), who has taken some blood samples for kidney, liver, etc and says that if these are ok, we are in with a chance. He is taking food in small amounts and Margaret even got up at 3 o clock this morning to feed him something. He may go on a drip tomorrow. Looking at him, he does not have an ounce of flesh on his body so how he has survived I will never know. Unless his will kept him going and the thought of getting back to them, but the circumstances of his disappearance are a complete mystery,and I do know he would not have wandered off and not come back. He wouldn`t have been chasing bitches because he`s been done.

Anyone who is interested and I`m sorry if this is becoming boring. Pedro went back to vets this morning and the blood test results are good, other than the fact that he is very anaemic. Should with TLC make a recovery.

Thanks Amber. He`s on anti-biotics and an iron supplement for two weeks so wont know any more until he returns to the vet. He`s eating and doing all the other things but he is soooooooooo skinny.
