we are hoping to start renting out our apartment soon. I know there is a tax of 10% of rental income due, can local costs such as cleaning and laundry be deducted from this and is it now possible to make an annual payment to the tax office rather than every month ? If it still has to be paid every month then can someone else do it on your behalf ?



Also our apartment is in Tatlisu where would we have to go to pay the tax ?

Thanks but these links seem to deal with residential lets, we are planning on holiday lets. Anyone know how this then works.

If you are Cyprus now, then ask at the tax office in Girne. As far as I know you do not have to pay every month, but can pay for a longer periode of time
