| By writing a letter to the British Civil Aviation and ask for the restriction of direct flight flights between London Airports and Ercan Airport - North Cyprus to be lifted. Complain, complain and complain. Remember the British government was in favour of the direct trade regulation. Come on guys. If we build a human trade we can rid of this disease. Turkish Cypriots were tortured and put into mass graves and the suffering went on until 1974. CAA House 45-59 Kingsway London WC2B 6TE |

| LC. I fully appreciate your sentiments but it is not the CAA who you must approach it is the international aviation authorities. You do need to ask if it is in the commercial interests of the airlines to fly direct when they also make a profit out of flying into Turkey (maybe to the point of it subsidising the leg to Ercan). Your first port of call should be the UN and EU as they are both heavily involved with the politics then as I said IATA and such like. Also support Embargo http://www.embargoed.org Msg 3 may be well intentioned but I do feel giving an emergency number to the CAA is not a good idea as 1] The person at the other end has no leverage and is there to assist those in need. 2] If there is a true emergency they need to help the passengers and their families and not take "political" calls. |
