havıng been ın cyprus for some tıme l had to go and do the usuall resıdency request. Having met wıth a frıend who ıntroduced me to a very nıce man called MARK Johnson went round to see hım and he helped me wıth all the requırements for my resıdency, form fıllıng, translatıon ect.

we have done this twice and have never found it a problem.!! even the first time took it all in our stride,was fine.!!

There is no form filling. They do it all at the police station!! All you have to do is sign. Same goes for Immigration in Lefkosa. No forms to complete.

I cannot believe some people actually pay others to process their residency! It's easy and can be explained in 5 minutes by anyone how's done it themselves. Might cost you a beer but that's all it's worth! Expensive enough procedure as it is, enlarging the coffers of Messrs Talat and cronies without paying out any further monies to a third party!

3 years ago it was a bit of a pain but now as already stated all the form filling is done for you.



If you cannot find your own muhtar ask on here you will be directed as to where to go and what to do, which is not much.

Do not pay any of these people for help with residency. Anyone can do it with no problems at all. Do not be conned into thinking it is hard.

I will give you any advice I can - for free. We are just going through our 5th residency application and you defo do not need to pay anyone to do this for you. Please leave your email if you want to contact me. I repeat, I will not charge you a penny for the few minutes of time that it will take to help you do this.
