Yes, NC was mentioned in the Times yesterday................. sadly for the wrong reasons Members of the Securitas gang are holed up in NC. Some of the stolen money has been used to buy properties in NC. Mind you I don't think they will get their deeds, as I am sure they won't be able to produce a clean NIS document The good news is that it seems that the British government is working with the TRNC on this matter

His wife claims he was kiiled (seems by the gang) and is not in NC. I think these people if on the Island would have been sussed by ex pats. Think of the reward money they would get. I myself would have a few beers with the lads!

A good few years ago Kenny Noye (remember him, Brinks Mat & stabbing a bloke on the A20 in Kent & a policeman in Noyes back garden) was reported to be in the TRNC. He had been seen in bars & restaurants, so serious was it treated that a television crew turned up trying to track him down. Surprise surprise he had never set foot in Cyprus but was living in Spain. It seems the TRNC is always the first place that is mentioned when looking for criminals on the run, now if you was a criminal & knew this would it really be the place you decided to go to?

It seems that it is extremely rare that criminals head for the TRNC as it seems rare to be reported as such, however I can accept that it does happen from time to time.
