tomorrow evening ( 07/04/09) at 8.00 pm there will be a UBP meeting in LAPTA central all the MP candidates of KYRENIA will be attending and also the party leader the candidate to become prime minister DR. DERVIS EROGLU will be attending the meeting . everyone is welcome to attend the public meeting so please come and join us and show your support .it will be an event you will never forget .

The meeting in Lapta. Take the turning opposite The Hut, go right to the top of the turning and you will see us all there. I am big, short blond hair will have a bright orange scarf on and will be with my Turkish Cypriot husband, he will translate for you - he has to for me I am ashamed to say. Wear something orange. For those who do not know 'The Hut' coming from Kyrenia it is the first left before the hotels, and those west to east right hand turning past the hotels. See you all there. Supposed to start at 8 but these things never start on time.

hi all i am sorry i couldn"t reply earlier due to my party involvement i hope you were able to find the meeting place if you came to lapta you could not miss it anyway with the convoy of cars and there lights and totting horns if you were able to attend it was fantastic . we will be coming round to your houses this weekend and we will give you information on what UBP intends to do for the british public and all the other nationalities as well if we come to power so we will listen to your problems and we will try and solve them hopefully .

UBP to power - hope not! How can TRNC people forget all the involvments of UBP / DP clans in mafia - Ergenekon associations! How should they forget the bombings made during REAL Turkish cypriot peace meetings in lefkosa? The bombing on Talats house just before he became president?

If UBP or DP wins the election - Ergenekon Turkey has won its dirty war in the cyprus issue. The dream of a solution will slide into a nightmare. Forget European Union but prepare of beeing a part of Turkey. Berkeh, I thought you were kind of educated but your involvment with such non cypriot partys makes me think of it.. UBP / DP was never REAL turkish cypriot but influenced by national views in combining TRNC to Turkey. It did not change for 30 years, why should they change now? It would be a great step backwards.

for us expats i wonder what they have instore for us?

we did get a new dustbin last week after waiting 3 years so some good has come from the elections,lol.

you will be able to get TRNC citizenship - and this very fast, just like the 3000 - 5000 Turkish which were brought in just to vote - in previos elections and votet for Denktaş / Denktaş / Eroğlu clan. They were made citizens in 24 hrs. This is what UBP / DP stands for. Also for CURRUPTION - and Turkish (secret) nationalist views.. Cant believe that they will win the elections.. To stupid to be true.. Even it was proofen the last week that they printed false petitions.. After you callculated all the percentage it resultet in 120% - so 20% to much.. They are not worth even to think of voting for.. BTW: For Expats: Nothing will change. They have no interest in chage. Why should they?

ask UBP mafia and they will tell you.. It was a big mess and CTP had to "clean" a lot of it.. I think it was before the elections in 1992 or something.. Even Gansters from Turkey were made citizen just to escape imprisonment in Turkey.. All true stories.. Remember the Deniz Kizi casino shooting? One of the big bos gansters, a well known mafia bos from Turkey has TRNC citizenship, gained in UBP times. CTP did only 65 citizens the last year. If you compare UBP it was 20 000 - 40 000 !!! Poor real TCs..

UBP / DP will be the end for TCs!

Untrue. He married a TCypriot so as to obtain citizenship - during the present Government's time in office.



And, knowing his reputation, why did the current Government choose to allow him to operate a casino? Each year my family and I have to complete myriad qualifications - including spotless police reports - so as to obtain our licenses. How did he manage to circumvent this? Again under the current administration.

Totally agree DC. For expats, the period that CTP has been in power has been awful. I cant imagine UBP could be any worse and hopefully they wont be.

neither UBP nor CTP will be able to solve this - or want to solve this - as ALL parties are involved.. Look at Denktaş Jr involvement with SERCEM - Cafer Gürcafers involvement with CTP - unfortuatelly they are all one in this subject.. The Expats will struggle on. The only hope is joninig the EU and under the applicate EU laws to solve the property matters, also the motgaged land etc..

Now here it comes: UBP / DP are not willing to join the EU under the agreed points. This means they are not willing to solve anything. Anyhow, the scandal is on the way, Eroğlu (UBP) will be brought to court because of very bad involvements with Turkish nationalists organisation ERGENEKON.

A very good article by cyprus mail which points it out what I was saying - UBP / DP full with criminals. Lets see what they will answer to this:

soothsayer you do not know what you are talking about .any one needs any info please come to the lapta ubp office tomorrow morning at 9.00 am and i will tell you what plans we have for everyone and especially fort the ex pats , tc, cyps, and every other national in cyprus and i will try to answer all your questions and try and solve your problems that you have in cyprus thanks to the ctp so called goverment . i look forward to seeing anyone from any party and i will tell you what plans the ubp party have if we come to power and i can tell you it is much much better than what ctp has done to us it will of course take time it will not happen overnight . but i can promise you one thing to start with the ubp govermet will be better . so i wait to see you at the office everyone is welcome take care

BTW: south based newspaper and the article was written by a REAL turkish cypriot - who works in the south becouse of all the stupid ergenekons over here... Simons mother is english though..

BTW: Damage to cyprus - this was started all by UBP !! CTP are the cleaners, but you take them to blame them for your mistakes.. You know that UBP ruled for over 20 years.. They did lots of mistakes, they cheated, they are involved in mafiatic organisations.. remember teknecik? old technology for a shown hourendous price - why did the saudi king left the island after he visited the mosque center and lefkosia main road project financed with saudi money? Answer: He was embaressed about what he saw!! !! 2 Lane road instead of 4 and the MUSLIM CENTER was a concrete rocket - seen it opposite Ercantanlar Reno Center - drive on for 50 on your left - The saudis immediately cut all support to TRNC because UBP divided the moneys inbetween themselves -driving new Mercedes in TRNC - unusual in that time in TRNC. lots and lots more in the UBP history books.. But you must know it better.. and you support them
