Does anyone know if there are any shops in Cyprus that sell FITFLOPS ? They are supposed to help with posture, balance and exercise your legs. I was sceptical about them but my friend bought some in UK and is raving about them. I am jealous and want some too !! Can anyone help ? Thanks

Are these actually any good - I've seen them in shops and thought they were quite expensive, but if they work???

Paul reckons he's seen them in TRNC - but of course, being a bloke, can't remember where. He also says "seen one pair of shoes, seen them all". This involves any type of flip-flop apparently!!!

I never thought I would give up my heels but when you run up and downstairs like i do every day im all for comfort now Are they really expensive I didnt ask the price. If they are that bad it may be back to foxy lady fo me, only prob im like a kid in a sweet shop in there. love to you both xxxxxxxxxxxx

Lilli - now, I know where you're coming from with the kid in a sweet shop thing. I'm exactly the same when it comes to shoes - you can never have too many!!. Not sure of price - will check it out next time I'm in town and let you know. I've seen them in a local sports shop and just thought they were expensive, but will double-check. I've suffered with my back for years due to all the time I spent wearing gravity-defying heels. Still love them, although I now think of them more as "sitting down" shoes - if you know what I mean!!

Lots of love

Lilli - Now I don't know about you, but what I do is this. We've got a really lovely shoe shop here in Bury St Edmunds - Chica's. They have wonderful shoes, but, for me, very expensive. I go twice a year to their sales and snap up bargains, which are usually out of season, i.e. summer sandals in February. I then put them away (in their boxes) and when it comes to the summer, I have all these shoes I've forgotten I've bought! It's like Aladdin's cave when I open the boxes. I wear boots all winter but love sandals! Trouble is, like you, I end up with a stock pile!! I'm 5'6" but still love heels. I'm sure we're not alone with this - Paul buys shoes "when he needs them"Huh - men!!

Jean

xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

ps We're talking sandals for £25.00 quid instead of £80.00 by the way!!

Jean

I think you may be trying to take on Imelda Marco's mantle (and shoes).

I have been wearing my Fitflops for a few months now they are supremely comfortable but not very elegant! They are around 35-40 pound in UK have not seen them for sale here or on other side. Have not noticed any difference in my posture/legs etc but maybe I do not do enough walking!

Hi Firestarter - message 14. We've now got a new shopping centre too, 'The Arc'. Trouble is, I think a lot of the smaller, independent shops will go out of business, which is a great shame.

fire starter - on the site of the old Cattle Market. Still quite a few units empty, but it does have a Debenhams.

Happy shopping!

I've had a pair for about a year and a half now and they do work BUT you have to really walk to see the benefit.

I dont know know if they sell them in Cyprus but ask someone to bring a pair over for you you can buy them at John Lewis etc or order them off ebay. They start at £36. Four of my friends have bought them on my recommendation.
