I have just received this e-mail from Turkish Bank.

This is the only reason that I really needed an account, and this is the account type that they recommended. Not Happy!

'You have a standing order for electric set up on your GBP account.

We can no longer pay these standing orders from a GBP account.'

Any other banks doing this?

Universal Bank has been proved to give mortgages on land already owned by British people. ie they are responsible for leaving many people in deep ****.

Simple solution is to open a YTL account with Turk Bank and just put in a couple of hundred YTL.

You can transfer money online from your sterling account to your YTL easy isn't it????????????

Hans

Turkbank are by far the most unprofessional bank I have come across in TRNC.

In the UK the banking ombudsman would have shut them down.

All aspects of their service are so unbeleivably slow compared to Iktisat, Garanti and CW, the banks I still use. The worst problem was getting my money back of them when I wanted to close the account.

Why you need some further justification I dont know but e-mail me if you find this a necessity.
