Do they sell them at the Yapi market?



Can you gat a safety deposit box at any of the banks?





Also ive been to the Yapi market before and found it to be VERY expensive.

They wanted 6lira for a ten meter measure tape!!! Yer right.

I asked them to cheack it again and yup 6lira it was.



I borrowed one of a very kind builder just down the road.

Could try leaving your valuables with Mr Talat for safe keeping but the chance and the story of retrieving them would make an excellent start to a thread on this site! You could crash it!!!

I'm sure I read somewhere before that tin pan alley were selling them for about £20(I might have dreamt that but am sure I have seen it somewhere!!)

I bought a safe at the end of last year, cost 100tl. It has a key and a touchpad for a number combination. It came from an electrical shop near the large school in central Girne, I can never remember the name of the school, it is something like the Anafartler. The same road as 1001.

Brougt a safe from Glenco £40 fitted, would recomend them, gives peace of mind
