| Im planning a 6 week stay in north cyprus in August. Would love to do a 2 week break in the middle on a safari in South Africa, Could someone give me an idea on the best way to get there from NC. many thanks |

| Tried the same to get to Australia next Jan/Feb but found the cheapest way was a return ticket to London and onward trip from there. Try Trailfinders, best by far. Richard |

| Steve, One option would be to fly from Larnaca to Dubai and then to either Jo'burg or Cape Town with Emirates. They have some very good offers on at the moment from the UK via Dubai, so I would think there should be some good deals going from Larnaca too, being closer and all. MC |

| alternatively the best deal we had was with dial a flight lufthansa via frankfurt. you coud go there via istanbul. |

| You can fly Turkish Airlines to Cape Town from Istanbul. |

| My friend flew to Cape Town from Ercan, but it took approximately 24 hours, she flew to istanbul, then to dubaii, then to jo'burg and then to cape town. be warned, it is an arduous journey....although in my opinion well worth it! DD |

| ...also, when she was in Istanbul the wait was for many hours, also there was a long wait in Dubaii...but here she was informed that she could leave the airport and take a tour on one of the buses...she didn't do it as she was rather tired...but a super thing to do whilst waiting for a connecting flight. DD |
