hi simma ,welcome to the forum , i bought everything from toros in lefkosa , and had it delivered the same day apart from blinds . but if you go to popular tags , you can find the relevant topic there, where other people have given info on other stores that they can recommend too and where they are based .

good luck simbas

Simma where is your property, as there are many places available now. Its often cheaper to buy in Nicosia than Girne and more often than not there is no delivery charge.

I bought all my furniture including curtain poles, curtains, blinds, wrought iron sun loungers etc. but not white goods from Fiskos opposite Astro Supermarket and Donaghay and Bayler estate agents in Girne.Very reasonable prices and great service. If you mention my name Stephen Duchan you will get a discount, I`m not on any commision Ijust recommend them because they are good.

Hi,

if you want some reasonably priced white goods, we went to a place called Cerkez Ltd address 148 Girne Cad, Lefkosa in the industrial estate just on the left past the football stadium on the Famagusta road from Lefkosa.

we paid £480 for both a large fridge freezer and washing machine.

They wanted to deliver immediately! couldnt have been more helpful.

Place looks a bit run down but the service and quality of products are great.

They are by far the cheapest we found

we paid in sterling and that worked out cheaper as well

Hope that helps

Think they did microwaves too, but there were no coloured goods that we saw

There was a good range to choose from though

Just had a week dragging my poor husband round nearly every shop in Girne and Lefkosa. If you want to buy furniture but are on a budget Fisko's, Homefront and Botanica are recommended, particularly good at making things to your own design and size. Too much emphasis on the black iron look for my likng but just take in pictures of what you want and they are very helpful. Olguns in my opinion is the best because you can mix and match expensive, classy furniture with more reasonably priced furniture to get the package you want. They also have some very contemporary furniture. Torus home ware are also helpful and again you can get them to cover headboards with materials of choice to get the look you want and then get them to run up and fit your blinds and curtains to match. I still think that buying furniture in trnc is more expensive than in England.... so get saving. Alternatively take hubby round so many shops he will eventually get so fed up he'll just let you have the final say.

Looking to replace my large f/freezer with two smaller units. No problem sourcing an under the counter fridge but can't find a similar size upright freezer

Max height 86cms Can anyone advise where I might find one?
