| I need a small elecrical job doing in my pool pump room, that is to alter timer from a fixed one to plug in type |

| You obviously have a socket, so disconnect the pump cable from the existing timer, put a 13A plug top on it and plug it into your timer. Plug your timer into the socket and away you go... |

| Why do you want to replace your fixed timer with a plug-in one? Plug-in timers aren't really sturdy enough to carry pump start currents and might burn out within a year or so.. |

| This being my third one being replaced and having to find an electrician to replace them is becoming a bit of a pain.With plug in type friends in alsancak have never had replace it . But I take your point still if it does go its easily replaced without trying to find an electrician. tt |

| Like I said previously electrics are not my strong point , but I know that timers if fitted correctly all work in conjunction with a contactor,I only know this because that also as been replaced. TT |
