A few months ago, someone posted a recommendation for a dermatologist - I think somewhere behind Cafe Dukkan?

I can't find a mention of it under medical.

Does anyone know the name and phone number please?

Best time of contact to make appointments etc is after 3pm as most work in the hospitals during the day and mobiles are often switched off.

I used a lady doctor, not far from Passport restaurant. Her no is 0542 8512413, her name is Dr Ozruhan Aygin

Thank you Firestarter and Metin, I've been to see Dr Ozruhan this afternoon. What a charming and totally professional lady. Can highly recommend her.

I visited Dr Ozruhan Aygin this afternoon and would just like to thank Metin for the recommendation. I phoned her this morning and saw her at 4pm. She was excellent and certainly knew her stuff. The cost was 70 tl for the consultation and this includes the follow-up appointment in two weeks time.

If you know the name of the creams you need, I have a spare an unopened tube of 'Dovonex' (calcipotriol) you may have, also one of 'DiproSalic' but the latter pretty strong. Email nurseawful for her advice then email me if of any use to you.

Thank you so much for your kind offer. The creams you mentioned are not the ones I was prescribed. I've ended up with one cream for daytime (Tiokonazol) , another for night (Travazol antifungal), antihistamine tablets and a bottle of Biokadin sterile solution. The chemist must be very happy. It's the most expensive insect bite I've ever had and the slowest to heal (10 weeks). Perhaps the creams may be of use to someone else though. Maybe we should start a medication swap-shop!

Dr Ozruihan speaks excellent English. Coming from Lapta to Girne, turn left at Cafe Dukkan just before the water fountain and her clinic is in an apartment block on the left. There is a large sign outside.
