If you go to the thread "Hairdresser, work, wanted" or something like that, there is a salon mentioned several times on there as highly recommended. Someone has posted the website info on there and I noticed that they do waxing, as well as hairdressing and other beauty treatments.

Hope this helps

The young girl at Neil Anthony does mine and she is first rate and also a lovely girl, I go in looking dishevelled and come out feeling a million dollars...she also adds a little something to make the shape better..she also does threading..brilliant.

I know it sounds strange, but hubby went in the barbers in Girne, just down the lane by the cafe's at the top of the main street.

While I was waiting for him, they offered to do my eyebrows etc.

Rather than just sit and wait, I took up the offer. they did a very good job, and they did threading. A few of my friends have been there since and have been very pleased.

I must admit I'm not an expert on eyebrows, that was my first experience, but I was pleased with the results.

Excellent thanks! I was wondering about a place here that does 'threading', it is an ancient Indian way to tidy eyebrows and a bit painful but much better than waxing and the re growth is smoother, if you wax your eyebrows a lot a beautician once told me that your eyelids will droop as you get older and it is really not good for you to put wax on your face, especially around the eyes as it is a very sensitive area!

its really easy to prepare wax...u can do it in ur home as well...

take 1 lemon juice freshly squeezed

1 glass of water

1 glass of sugar

put water and sugar in a saucepan and lemon juice and over low heat prepare it till it turns caramel brown......after it cools down its bit sticky so u need to take a little amount of that wax put it where u want for ue eyebrows and let it cool with spatula or cotton bud ofcourse then u can take the cooled wax off.

Threading is an ancient chinese form of hair removal and I dont suggest you try to do it yourself you may end up with half or worse...no eyebrow.

Go to Nulten Oral. x

Had my eyebrows done only once over here, but never again. I believe it was some sort of string they used, the pain was unbelievable. I had a red rash on my forehead for about a week after that.

My tweezers and I from now on....lol
