Work in the North of Cyprus

If a person works in the TRNC but the company they work for is based in the RoC and are paid in euros do they still need a work permit as technicaly they are working for an EU country where you dont need a permit. Is this a way round the problem.

Reason i ask this is i have a company in the south but want to expand north but i want to employ people from the north.

I see on the forum there are always people looking for work and i have seen a couple of people on here who i think would be suitable but when i advertised for a sale rep only one person applied and thank goodness she is the kind of person i am looking for.

If you want to work / sell or employ people from the North that work in the North then you will have to set up a company that is registered in the North so that you pay the relavent tax's & insurance ect. People will tell you this is a night mare but it isn't that bad.
