keithr If you Google Dreambox, you will get over 9 million results - the first (non-paid-for) of which, is: - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreambox - it's all there... Keith(C).

Goldwing, Could you tell me how your system is set up? Do you use a router and if so what model is it ,as I have heard it has to be a special one for 3G. We want to connect to a laptop wirelessly so would require a router. Many thanks, Moonrakers

Hi Spud1 Sorry I gave the wrong advice, did not know you had yours setup for Sky, yes you will loose the channels by resetting your dish . I have not tried sky setting so can't advise you on this. hope someone else could offer you advice

Am I missing something - WHY would anyone need a dreambox to get Free to view channels via Astra 2D, etc.. ( SKY) Better to buy a SKY box - best EPG - prog guide - or a hard drive PVR sat receiver - if you ain't subscribing to SKY.. Dreamboxes are for hacking and card sharing and the new SKY cards coming out will close that loop.
