| Hi, This is for people trvelling from the continent and used to travle with cheques. It is next to impossible to do it in Kyrenia. Most so-called local banks do not accept any travel cheques at all. Few so-called banks wil ask you to open account and get cash from your account in one month. Good idea, when you are need money today. to be continued |

| Try Sun Doviz in Lefkosa. They'll take the cheque and will charge commission (like 5%) and you get your money immediately. They make you sign a legal paper so that if your cheque doesn't clear, they will chase you. If the cheque is over a few thousand pounds, I don't think they will accept it under normal conditions. |
