| I know this is against the rules but where is Mikelapta, I really miss his gardening updates/progress and get lots of ideas from his posts, hope he is ok and still enjoying his retirement.

| Nope, he's alive & kicking looking after 4 dogs across the road from us in Lapta!!
BTW his garden is looking just as good.

| To Hattikins.Just for you!!!
Veg plot today.Planted some potatoes December,just old ones gone to seed from kitchen,have dug up and enjoyed new potatoes.This weekend will be enjoying more peas,and the first crops of broad beans.I have a row of about
10m of canes suppporting tomatoes,peppers,and aubergines.Also in veg plot
I have sweet corn,parsnips,sprouting broccoli,cauli,leeks, a few beetroot,radish and lettuce.
My first apple tree is sprouting buds,a peach tree a least 10 fruit,and a newly
planted plum one fruit!!!
I am most pleased my neighbour showed me to take grape cuttings.A couple of months ago,pruned small old shoots,stuck them in the ground,now have another 6 grapes on the go!!
Enough for now??
