I use Kirk of Bracey Builders all the time and he has always done me proud. He always turns up, does what he says he's going to do and charges exactly what he quotes, which is always very reasonable.

I wouldn't touch them with a Greeks!!! Friends patio sunk after a few months and in the end they had to get the builder that built their house to come and rectify the dodgy job.

Price ended up being 40% more than the original quote - is that what you mean by "not binding"??

Hi Bill - May be worth contacting an english builder I know that does a lot of insurance work here. He lives in Lapta and I am sure would be interested. I will not give his no. now but will check first beforehand for you.

i have spent more time on customer relatoins than this lot have attacking my company and others we are in the prosedeeds of sorting out racoon with burnams at the moment . i ask any one of these people to take me to one job they are sujesting i have done if and it is a big if this is down to bracey builders i will correct and reenburse them the full amount of there payment so will who ever you or where ever this job is come forward on this board now and if there is no such job as i know there isant come and meet me tomorrow so i can sort it out can i be farrer than that ?

i have never put down a bad patio and even though many a time i have lost work to people that have under cut me will never reduce my qualty of work and will not have my company put down as such it has taken me a lot of time and money to start this company if you had done it you would fill the same i will stand by my word after this show me i will give you your money back and re do any work that is not up to standard that has done and been agreed buy me i ask you to show me or stop slagging my company off

Quality of work is the most important consideration for me so if if they do the job and do it well then I will happily recommend them to others.

We emailed Bracey builders for a quote which was not in his field he emailed back the next with GOOD advice then again the next day with further information for us we were most impressed.

You speak as you find i have met Kirk and he has done work for me built wardrobes odd jobs all completed to a high standard and reasonable costs a decent hard working guy and legal and paying his dues to the TRNC.

If the company has done the patio and its not right then they fix it, on the other hand if he hasn't then the guy is entitled to defend his reputation as he is trying to earn a living and statements made by racoonchic and chicken run are slanderous and constitute deformation of character.

If i was kirk i would check out the patio and if it wasn't his job i would stick chicken run and racoonchic under the patio would stop it from sinking again........

I know Kirk quite well and you couldn't wish to meet a more amenable person. He is a very pleasant chap indeed. His e-mail persona is nothing like the man himself.

He clearly feels very strongly about his company (quite rightly) and is bound to defend its reputation.

high all it has now come to light that cicken run was told this by sombody i thank him for emailing me an expressing his concern that he could have been wrong witch i am sure he is if not please will the person with this patio contact me direct as i would like to meet him this is a concern to me as i was emailed by one of the admiestrators last night with a yellow card and he did express that he had heard from a certain party that they were so pleased with the new room i had made buy installing a mezeen floor i did not do that part of this job but i did do a new kitchen and other parts of there referb this just goes to show how easy it is to cause a company lots of bad publicity when they are inocent of any blame if any body has a problem with my work or my company

Bracey Builders are well known to myself and my wife Jan, and we agree totally with the majority of the remarks about Kirk and his workmanship, First rate guy, turns up works hard, gets the job done, 100% trustworthy, and a really genuine person, We have lived here almost two years, and Haven,t bothered joining the forum before, but I felt so strong about the bad press with regards to Kirk I decided to give it a go, ( plus the fact Im a bit of Richard Cranium with computors), I can understand Kirk getting wound up, at the end of the day he is legal, this costs him a great deal of money even if he,s not working, and you have so many illegal expats working cheaper and getting us all a bad name, We should support people like Bracey Builders
