This is my first post here, so hello everyone.

I've been lurking for a while and reading the threads in an attempt to make sure I don't ask a question that's been answered already! If I do, apologies!

I Live on the West Coast of Scotland, but am looking to spend January and February of next year in North Cyprus. This is with a view to spending a much longer period of time there and ultimately moving permanently.

I'm looking for either a 1 or 2 bedroomed property to rent for the 2 months. I guess somewhere around Kyrenia or Belapaise would be good but am open to any suggestions.

The thing is, I work on the Internet, so wherever I rent would have to have a broadband internet connection. I'm not fussed about a swimming pool.

Any suggestions or links to letting agents that may help will be gratefully received.

Thanks In advance.

Hi Andy welcome to the forum I to live on the west coast of Scotland (Helensburgh) I think the West of Kyrenia is better, only in my opinion, we have bought a house in Karsiyaka, maybe too far out for some. We used to live in West London now Stay in the West of Helensburgh, we Have a house in the West of Girne, so in my opinion WEST is best.

Hi Andy

Welcome to the site. We are also from West of Scotland. We have an apt in Karakum finished and waiting on mains electric. We dont have broadband so I dont think you`d be interested. Hope you find something suitable and we prefer the East

Aye, West is best. I'd probably enjoy staying outside Kyrenia rather than in the town, I enjoy peace and quiet!

AndyR - just a small piece of advice here and if you are already aware, please accept my apologies. If I were you, I would make sure that whichever place you decide to rent has adequate heating. January/February can be cold and damp.

Hope you find what you're looking for.

Thanks, I kinda figured that would be the case. The place I'm considering at the moment has a stove.
