At Istanbul Airport HSBC Premier/Advantage customers can use the Airport Lounge for free. Does anyone know if it's possible to use any of the Heathrow, or other Airport Lounges using HSBC cards etc ? Navek

From what i know the HSBC Card is for Istanbul only, however as/if your a Premier Customer with HSBC you also get a free Priority Pass Card, this allows you to use Airport Lounges Worldwide. However the cost of a visit is around $24, but to be honest well worth it when you think of the prices in airports for drink & food. Just contact the bank and they will arrange the card for you. At certain airports you can also sign in family again a charge is made.

If using HSBC Card no charge, if using your Priority Pass Card $24, however you can drink and eat as much as you want.

Garanti bank cards work at Istanbul as well. Two people free and I think about £16 for any others.

I have a priority pass and it used to be free with up to I think four guests but now it is not free for anybody. I used it once at Dubai Airport with my son and son in law and did not have to pay anything. All lush leather sitting capacity with plenty to eat plus free internet. I believe you can buy a Priority Pass from the company itself at a yearly price. Have a look at http://www.prioritypass.com Credit cards of HSBC, Garanti, Ishbank, and Akbank all have lounges at Istanbul airport. The trouble is that you can use these lounges only after you pass through the passport check. ismet

Just had my daughter on the phone, she was saying how expensive it was in airports for food & drink etc. Asked her if she'd thought of buying a Lounge Pass? She'd never heard of them. Think she was pleasantly surprised when she checked out their web site. Best place to be if you're delayed too, free food and drink etc! See web page for more info @ ... http://www.loungepass.com/ Navek
